Silver Howe is a lovely home from home apartment in Bowness on Windermere, superbly located 2 minutes walk away from the village centre where you will find numerous bars, restaurants and shops.  A 5-minute walk to Lake Windermere at Bowness Bay, where you can enjoy a cruise around Lake Windermere on one of the cruise boats or take a self-drive boat out on the Lake.

Sleeping 4 people in two bedrooms, both with Double beds.

A comfortable lounge with views of Lake Windermere provides a great space to unwind after a long day on the fells. 

A modern kitchen is fully equipped with everything you could possibly need to enjoy your stay.

Free onsite parking is available.

From J36 on the M6. 

Take the A590 exit Barrow/Kendal/A591/Kirkby Lonsdale/A65

At the roundabout, take the 1st exit onto A590 for 3.3 Miles then continue onto the A591 for 11.7 Miles.

Turn left onto the High Street and follow this round to the left which becomes Victoria Street, Continue down this road into Crescent Road, follow this road for 1.1 Mile and turn left onto Helm Road, and an immediate left after Oakbank House and this takes you on a private road to the car park and apartment. 


Please park your car to the left of the property  in the space numbered 4 only.  There is a space with a V for another car which can be used if available.  Please make sure you don't park in any of the other numbered spaces as this can cause issues with the other residents in the building.   

You will find the entrance door for the apartment to the rear of the property.


You will find the lock box to the left of the main door., there is an S on the front of it.  The code you need to access this is 1964. Inside you will find a set of keys for the apartment.  You need apartment 4 on the first floor. We ask that you ensure the door is locked when you leave the apartment and when you check out you return the key to the lock box and scramble the code and make sure it is locked.


Check in is strictly from 4 pm onwards and check out is 10 am.  We will be unable to offer an earlier or later check in and check out in our busy period, if you wish to request an earlier check in or check out then this needs to be requested before your arrival date and we will do our best to accommodate this, there is a £35 charge a change in check in and check out times.
