By Car

When entering Ambleside on the A591.

Pass Hayes Garden Centre on the left and continue along this road until you come to Wansfell Road, take a left here (this is a one way system) and follow the road all the to the end then turn right onto A593 and follow this road for a few minutes and turn left onto Compston Road (A591) and at the end turn right onto The Slack then right again onto Compston Street, Drive along this small street and on the left you will see a Red double garage door you can park your car on the side of the road here for unloading your baggage but you must then take your car and park it in one of the nearby car parks.

By Train 

If you are travelling into Windermere by train, we recommend you getting a taxi to the cottage, please give the taxi driver the address and postcode above.

LOCK BOX

You will find the lock box to the left of the main door.

The code you need to access this is issued to you on the morning of your arrival via your online guest area which was created when you completed your pre check in and also we will send a text message with the information in on the morning of your arrival. 

Inside you will find a set of keys for the apartment. 

We ask that you ensure the door is locked when you leave the cottage and when you check out you return the key to the lock box and scramble the code and make sure it is locked.

CHECK IN AND CHECK OUT 

Check in is strictly from 4 pm onwards and check out is 10 am. 

We will be unable to offer an earlier or later check in and check out at this moment, we are giving our housekeeping team the full allocated time between check out and check in to ensure they can fully prepare for your arrival.
